1. EVENT CATEGORIES
1. Participants can sign up for the following Event categories:
- Circuit Race Open – 5.7km/lap, 5 laps in total
- Circuit Race Master – 5.7km/lap, 5 laps in total
- Circuit Race Team Time Trial (Team of 5) – 5.7km/lap, 5 laps in total
- Family Ride – 5.7km/lap, 2 laps in total
- Circuit Race Junior U7/U9 Years Old – 5.7km/lap, 2 laps in total
- Circuit Race Junior U11/U13/U15 Years Old – 5.7km/lap, 3 laps in total
- Road Race (Ave Speed 30KM/H & Above) – 88KM
- Road Race (Ave Speed Below 30KM/H) – 88KM

2.8 Road Race (Ave Speed Below 30KM/H)
Time: 07:30-12:00, 21 May, Sunday
Course: Dianshanhu Ave, Fuxing Road, Zhutian Road, Zhufeng Highway, Zhufeng Connecting Line, Liangao Road, Xiding Line, Sichou Road, Xiding Highway, Yangtai Line, Fenan East Road, G318, Jinhu Road, Taipuhe North Road, Maohe West Road, G318, Fuxing Road, Dianshanhu Ave
- Sprint Section: The sprint section is located on the 44 to 45.5KM mark of the course. The net time of each riders along this section will be recorded and placing awarded.
3. REGISTRATION REQUIREMENT
3.1 Circuit Race Open / Team Time Trial (Team of 5) / Road Race
Participants must be age 16-70 on the date of the event (Born between 21 May 1952 and 20 May 2007) and have participated in cycling or any other sporting events. Team Time Trial Race is suitable for participants with team time trial experience. We strongly recommend all participants who register for the Team Time Trial Race to have pre-race training.
3.2 Circuit Race Master
Participants must be age 40-70 on the date of the event (Born between 21 May 1952 and 20 May 1983) and have participated in cycling or any other sporting events.
3.3 Family Ride
Participants must be age 6-70 on the date of the even (Born between 21 May 1952 and 20 May 2017).
3.4 Circuit Race Junior U7/U9/U11/U13/U15 Years Old
U7/U9 Participants must be age 6-9 on the date of the event (Born between 21 May 2013 and 20 May 2017). Participants must have consent from their parent or legal guardian.
U11/U13/U15 Participants must be age 10-15 on the date of the event (Born between 21 May 2007 and 20 May 2013). Participants must have consent from their parent or legal guardian.
3.5 Participants under the age of 18 (born after 20 May 2005) must have consent from their parent or legal guardian.
3.6 If you are a Participant below 18 years of age, and have completed the wavier form online and submit the signed hard copy during event pack collection, you are deemed to have obtained consent from your parent or legal guardian to participate in the Event.
3.7 Individual with the below conditions are not recommended to participate in the event:
- Heart Conditions;
- High blood pressure;
- Irregular heart beat;
- Myocarditis and other heart diseases
- High cholesterol and diabetics;
- Pregnant Individual;
- Have a history of severe or critical illness due to coronavirus;
- Have not recovered from coronavirus infection, or have symptom(s) such as fever, dry cough, fatigue, loss of sense of smell and taste, nasal congestion, runny nose, sore throat, conjunctivitis, myalgia and diarrhea, and have not sought medical treatment to rule out new coronavirus infection;
- Recovered from coronavirus infection less than 30 days. It is recommended that participants should take a physical examination in a qualified regular medical institution, and evaluate their physical condition based on the medical examination report to confirm whether they can participate in cycling and related sports competitions;
- Any other conditions deem not suitable by the organizer
4. EVENT RULES
4.1 All the participants shall wear Bike helmets which should be undamaged and unaltered. The helmet should meet or exceed the following safety standards: American Consumer Safety Council Standards; ANSI Z-90.4; Snell B90; EN 1078 or other national accredited testing authority standards of the same level
4.2 No handheld device and cell phone during the race. If participants need to use their cellphone you shall pull off to the side, off the road safely and use the phone and then return to the ride safely.
4.3 No entertainment device is allowed, including music players, headphones, etc.
4.4 Only closed footwear, no slippers, sandals is allowed.
4.5 No pets allowed.
4.6. Bicycle Restriction
The following cycles are not permitted in the Events:
- Bikes with Disc Wheels/Rim Covers;*
- Bikes with Aero or Extension Bars;*
- Specialist Time Trial Bikes;*
- Bikes from Bike-Share Service
- Bikes with Child Seat (no pillion in any manner);
- Motorised Bikes;
- Unicycles;
- Trailer Bikes;
- Tandem bicycles;
- Hand Cycles;
- Trikes;
- Scooters.
All bicycles must be properly fitted with operational front and rear brakes.
* The following cycles are permitted in the Circuit Race – Team Time Trial:
- Bikes with Disc Wheels/Rim Covers;*
- Bikes with Aero or Extension Bars;*
- Specialist Time Trial Bikes;*
Participants who attend the Event with unapproved bicycles will be prohibited from participating in the Event.
4.7 All Participants must display the race number stickers issue by the organsier
4.8 All Participants must follow the designated routes and abide by the instructions given by the security, traffic management and Event officials throughout the Event.
5. EVENT PROCEDURE
5.1 Inspection and Start
- Participants must arrive at the venue 30min before the race start time for relevant inspection. Participants who are late and missed their start time are not allowed to start or join any other ride.
- Participants are not allowed to enter the course unless instruction were given by event official
- Bib number sticker, helmet sticker, and bike sticker are provided by race organizer, participants shall wear these materials before entering the course. Official inspection staff will check the number on all race-related materials. During the race, you will be disqualified if you forget wearing any of those materials above or numbers on those materials are not matched
- Participants shall obey the competition and course rules and follow the instructions of the race staff and volunteers
5.2 Supplies along the course
- A water station will be located on course for the Road Race. No on course supply stations for other races categories.
- Participants are allowed to bring their own water, energy bar, etc onto the course. All the packages should be dispose at designated trash-disposal points.
- The race organizer will not provide any disposable items, including paper towels, water cups, etc.
5.3 Ride Direction and Ride Etiquette
5.3.1 Ride Direction
- Organizers will set up essential signs along the course
- The content of signs may include distance, direction, condition sign, etc.
- Staff will be waving flags and whistling at important areas such as turns, narrow path, etc to notify participants.
5.3.2 Ride Etiquette
- Road Race will be led by a lead vehicle – all participants are allowed to advance at full speed upon instruction from lead vehicle staff
- Remind each other if there is uneven surface or hump
- No overtaking at sharp or U-turn
- No pushing. Participants that need to slow down or get off their bike, please stick to the right-hand side of the road.
- Helmet must be on throughout the whole duration of the ride.
- Please keep to the right-hand side of the road, overtaking is on the left.
- Lapped riders must give way to faster riders. Riders who are caught pushing or intentionally slowing others will be disqualified from the race.
- Please inform the front rider when overtaking.
- Please leave the course if you suffer a fall or injury.
- Please inform race official if medical attention is required
- In the event of bike malfunction, please move out of the course and DO NOT block other athletes. Please bring an extra tube, tool and to fix any issue on your own.
6. CUT OFF TIME, RECOVERY AND WITHDRAWAL
6.1 Each event has an allocated time for completion. If Event officials believe that a rider will not finish the ride within the event duration, rider will be disqualified and directed off the course or board recovery vehicle.

6.2 Event officials reserved the right to remove rider at any point if they deem the rider will not finish the ride in the allocated time.
6.3 If you wish to withdraw, please inform the nearest course staff and they will direct you off the course or board the recovery vehicle.
6.4 Result for participants that withdrew will be void.
6.5 Withdrew participates shall return the timing chip when back at the main area.
7. RESULT AND AWARD
7.1 No prize money will be awarded to race winners; however top finishers will receive trophy as following:
- Circuit Race Open
- 1st/2nd/3rd for Male
- 1st/2nd/3rd for Female
- Circuit Race Master
- 1st/2nd/3rd for Male
- 1st/2nd/3rd for Female
- Circuit Race – Team Time Trial
- 1st/2nd/3rd for Team
- Family Ride – No result and award for this ride
- Circuit Race Junior U7/U9 Years Old
- 1st/2nd/3rd for U7 Male
- 1st/2nd/3rd for U7 Female
- 1st/2nd/3rd for U9 Male
- 1st/2nd/3rd for U9 Female
- Circuit Race Junior U11/U13/U15 Years Old
- 1st/2nd/3rd for U11 Male
- 1st/2nd/3rd for U11 Female

*Sprint Classification will be recorded for road race but no award will be given.
7.2 The following will be applied if there are less than 6 participants per award:
- 2 or Less Participants – No award
- 3 to 5 Participants – Only 1st will be awarded
7.3 Result for race (1), (2), (5), (6), (7) and (8) will be based on Gun Time.
7.4 Race (3) result will be based on Net Time.
- The result will be the time that the 3rd participant crosses the finish line.
- Participants must ride as a team. Any individual that can’t stay with their team will be directed off the course by course staff
7.5 Sprint Classification will be based on Net Time.
7.6 Participants who successfully complete the ride in their relevant Event category will be awarded:
- A medal upon the presentation of their cycling bib to the respective officials on Event day.
- A finisher e-certificate which will be downloadable within three (3) days of the completion of the event.
- Participants in the Family Ride will not have their time recorded.
8. RACE REFEREES
Tech representatives and referees are selected by China Cycling Association.
9. COSTS AND CONDITIONS
Participants shall pay for their own registration and accommodation fees. Organizers will provide basic race insurance for participants.
10. SAFETY AND MEDICAL
10.1 All participants must certify they are healthy, physically fit and do not have any medical conditions that is not suitable to participate in the Event.
10.2 Participants are encouraged to consult their medical practitioners prior to registration and before participating in the Event.
10.3 For safety reasons, if Event officials decide that Participants are unlikely to complete their ride within the ride duration, Event officials will divert them to designated diversion points along the route. Participation medals will still be issued to such affected Participants
10.4 Participants must complete personal and emergency details during registration. Race Stickers are to be attached during the ride. If there is an emergency, the Event Organiser and medical personnel will refer to the registration form to contact the next-of-kin identified.
10.5 If there is an emergency, medical personnel reserve the right:
- to remove any Participants if they decide that he/she is unable to continue his/her ride; and
- to send any casualties to the nearest recommended hospital.
10.6 Event organiser will provide riders with basic coverage. All medical expenses outside of event coverage provided by the organiser will be borne by the participants.
10.7 Participants who wish to utilize the insurance provided by the organiser will have to pay for their expenses first and submit the claim. Participants are encouraged to get their own insurance.
